# SpeechBee

> SpeechBee is a staged private local dictation product for Mac. These files describe the verified Mac workflow and evidence-backed comparisons with other dictation tools.

SpeechBee turns speech into finished text where a person is already working. Transcription runs locally after the selected model downloads. SpeechBee does not offer cloud transcription or usage tracking.
